Transcribed 4 Less is a transcription service that can handle just about any transcription need. We can perform audio transcriptions or video transcriptions (with or without time coding) from a digital source or a standard or micro cassette.

Best of all, our transcription fee is a paltry $1.00 per source minute, and we do not charge a minimum. Our transcription turnaround can be as little as 4:1, and unless you send us a really large project, it is rarely more than a day. We cheerfully accept payment through Paypal® once your document is received and accepted. It isn’t even necessary for the client to have a Paypal® account if they pay us with a credit or debit card.

We transcribe interviews for authors. We transcribe legal briefs and legal pleadings for attorneys. We transcribe focus groups for marketing and advertising firms. We transcribe business meetings and correspondence for the smallest and the largest companies.

We can transcribe for you in Spanish, as well as English! Our Spanish transcriptionist is a literate and highly educated native speaker.

In addition to being fast and accurate typists, all of our transcriptionists are also freelance writers and editors in their “other” lives. All of our transcriptionists are extremely literate and articulate, so industry-specific terminology rarely poses a problem for us if the audio recording is clear. We can easily provide audio transcription to one of three standards:

• Transcribed Verbatim - This is actually the most difficult kind of transcription. Every word, every false start to a sentence, every “uh,” “you know,” and stutter is transcribed faithfully.
• Semi-Verbatim Transcription - Phrasing and sentence structure is exact, but stutters and false starts are cleaned up in the transcribed document. This is what our clients request most often.
• Edited Transcription - This is the type of transcription most often requested in conjunction with interview transcription for authors. Real people, as we all know, do not speak in concise, grammatically correct sentences. Capturing the flavor of what a person actually said, while still producing a document that is publication-ready, is an art form - and we’re good at it. This allows the author to merely cut and paste quotes, etc., into his or her article or book.

In this digital age, we can and do offer our transcription services to clients from all over the world. They send us their audio files, and we return an accurately transcribed Word document attached to their return e-mail. It really is that simple.
